వేదములు,ఉప వేదములు…Vedamulu,Upavedamulu

బ్రహ్మకు నాలుగు ముఖములు ఉన్నాయి కదా!ఆ నాలుగు ముఖముల నుండి ఋగ్వేదము,యజుర్వేదము,సామవేదము మరియు అధర్వణ వేదములు పుట్టాయి.ఇంతే కాకుండా హోతృ కర్మలైన అప్రగీత మంత్ర స్తోత్రములగు శస్త్రములు,అధ్వర్యు కర్మయగు ఇజ్యము,సంప్రగీతి స్తోత్రమగు స్తుతియు,ఉద్గాతృ ప్రయోజ్యమగు ఋక్సముదాయ రూపస్తోమము,ప్రాయశ్చిత్తమగు బ్రహ్మకర్మయు,ఆయుర్వేద,ధనుర్వేద,గాంధర్వ వేదము అనే ఉపవేదములు పుట్టాయి.ఇంకా విశ్వకర్మ శాస్త్రమగు స్థాపత్యము,ప్రాజ్ఞ్ముుఖము మున్నగు శాస్త్రములు ఆ నాలుగు ముఖములనుండి వెలువడ్డాయి.మనము పంచమ వేదము అనే ఇతిహాస పురాణాలు కూడా ఆ నాలుగు ముఖముల నుంచి పుట్టాయి.కర్మ తంత్రము అయిన షోడశి,ఉక్థ్యములు,జయనాగ్నిష్టోమములు,అస్తోర్యామాతిరాత్రములు,వాజపేయ గోసవములు,ధర్మదేవత పాదములు అయిన విద్య,దాన,తపసు,సత్యములు,బ్రహ్మచర్య,గృహస్థ,వానప్రస్థ యత్యాశ్రమములు,చతుర్విధ వృత్తులు కలిగినవి.బ్రహ్మచర్యము సావిత్రము అంటారు.అది ఉపనయనము మొదలు మూడు దినములు గాయత్రి జపించుట అను ప్రాజాపత్యమును,వేదవ్రత చతుష్టయము.అందు ప్రతి వ్రతమును వ్రతులు సంవత్సర కాలము చేయవలెను.బ్రహ్మమును వేదగ్రహణానంతరము చేయవలెను.బృహత్తును,నైష్టికంబును అను బ్రహ్మచారి వృత్తి చతుష్టయము. /////////////// We all know that Brahma has four heads.From his four faces Rigveda,Yajurveda,Saama veda and Adharvanavedas were born.Besides these,Hothru karmas (ancestral rites done to appease the deceased)manthras,Adharyu karmas Ijya(worthy of worship),Samprageetha Sthuthi(prayer or hymn),Udgaathru (priest)Ruksamudaaya roopasthomamu,Brahma karma(act of offering to the supreme),Aayurveda(science about life and longevity),Dhanurveda(science of archery),Gaandharva (science of music and fine arts)vedas also called as upa vedas(applied knowledge)were created.From his four faces Ithihaasa puraanaas,also called as Panchama vedas were born.In addition,Karma thanthra called Shodasi,Ukdhyamulu(offering with hymns),Jayanaagnishtomamulu(vedic fire sacrifices to achieve victory)Apthoryaamaathiraathramulu(yajnas conducted for welfare of the humanity and animal kingdom),Vaajapeya gosavamulu(yajna conducted to attain sovereignity),four legs of Dharma devatha ...education,donation,meditation and truth were born.Brahmacharya(celibacy),Gruhastha(family life),Vaanaprasdha(leading simple and austere life in woods in old age),Yathi asramam (leading pious and religious devoted life in the woods)and all four types of work chathurvidha vruththulu were created.Upanayanam(sacred thread ceremony)is called Savithramu.Starting with Upanayanamu(thread ceremony) Gayathri manthra should be chanted for three days.It is called as Praajaapathyamu (procreative celibacy)and vedavratha (determined to follow celibacy till learning is complete)chathushtayamu.This means it has four steps.they are Savithramu,Brahmamu,Bruhaththu(life long spiritual dedication and celibacy),and Naishtikam(life long celibacy and perpetual learner).Brahmamu should be done after vedagrahanaanantharam.All the four vrathas should be dne continuously for a year.

బ్రహ్మ చేసిన తప్పు…brahmas wrong act

బ్రహ్మ ముఖము నుండి సరస్వతి పుట్టింది కదా!అంటే పుత్రికతో సమానము కదా!కానీ బ్రహ్మకు ఆమె పైన మోహము కలిగింది.అది తన కుమారులు అయిన మరీచి మున్నగువారు చూసారు.అతనిని తీవ్రంగా నిందించారు.బ్రహ్మకు తల కొట్టేసినంత పని అయింది అవమానమూ,చిన్నతనముతో.బ్రహ్మ దేహత్యాగము చేసాడు.దిక్కులూ,మూలలూ కలిపి ఎనిమిది కదా.అవి ఆ దేహాన్ని తీసుకుని పోయాయి.దాని వలన మంచు,చీకటి ఏర్పడింది. బ్రహ్మ తన శరీరము నశించిపోయినా,ఇంకో దేహమును ధరించాడు.అధైర్య పడకుండా సృష్టి కార్యము చేయ బూనాడు.కానీ చేతకాలేదు.ఎట్లా?ఎట్లా?ఎట్లా?అని మల్లగుల్లాలు పడ్డాడు.ఈ ఆలోచనల వలన అతని నాలుగు ముఖముల నుండి నాలుగు వేదములు,యజ్ఞములు,గొప్ప కర్మములు,తంత్రములు,ప్రవర్తనలు,ఆశ్రముములు పుట్టాయి. ॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥Saraswathi was created from the face of Brahma.So,literally she is like a daughter to him.But Brahma was bewitched by her beauty and lusted for her.His sons like Mareechi and others saw it and admonished him very stongly.Brahma was ashamed of his heinous act and could not look into their faces.He left his body.All the eight directions(east,west etc)took his body away.Because of that darkness and ice filled the entire space.Again Brahma created and entered into another body.He wanted to start procreation but utterly failed.He could not find any way.He was thinking,thinking and thinking but to no avail.Because of this four Vedas(sacred scriptures)came from his four faces.Besides Vedas,Yajnamulu(sacred rituals),great acts or deeds,Thanthramulu(procedures adopted to achieve spiritual awakening),behaviours and Aasramamulu(religious centres)were created.

బ్రహ్మ పుత్రులు…sons of Brahma

బ్రహ్మకు అర్థం అయిపోయింది.వేరే వాళ్ళతో పెట్టుకుంటే లాభం లేదని.తనే రంగంలోకి దిగాడు.తనే స్వయంగా సృష్టికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టాడు.తనతో సమానమయిన పదిమంది కలిగారు.బ్రహ్మ దేవుని బొటన వ్రేలు నుండి దక్షుడు,తొడవలన నారదుడు,నాభి నుండి పులహుడు,చెవినుండి పులస్త్యుడు,దేహము నుండి భృగువు,చేతి నుండి క్రతువు,ముఖము నుండి అంగిరసుడు,ప్రాణము నుండి వసిష్టుడు,మనసు నుండి మరీచి,కన్నుల నుండి అత్రి పుట్టారు.వీరే కాకుండా అతని దక్షిణ స్తనము నించి ధర్మము,వెన్నుపూస వలన అధర్మము,మృత్యువు,ఆత్మ నుండి మన్మథుడు పుట్టారు.అతని కనబొమల నుండి క్రోధము,అధరము నుండి లోభము,ముఖము నుండి సరస్వతి,మేఢ్రము నుండి సముద్రములు,అపానము నుండి నిరృతి,ఛాయ వలన దేవహూతి కర్దములు పుట్టారు. ॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥॥ Brahma was disillusioned with the outcome after Rudraganamu created havoc.He himself decided to start progeny.He had ten children who were equal to Him in all aspects.Dakshudu was born from his thumb,Naaradudu from his thigh,Pulahudu from umbilicus,Pulasthyudu from ear,Bhruguvu from his body,Krathuvu from his hand,Angirasudu from his face,Vasishtudu from his life,Mareechi from his soul and Athri from his eyes were born.Besides these,He had Dharmamu (justice)frim his breast,Adharmamu and Mruthyuvu(injustice and immorality and death)from his backbone,Manmadhudu from His soul,krodhamu(anger,fury and wrath)from his eye brows,Lobhamu(greed)from his lips,Saraswathi from his face,oceans from medramu(penis),Nirruthi from Apaanamu(anus) and Devahoothi and Kardamulu from chaaya(shadow).

రుద్రుడు…Rudrudu

బ్రహ్మ క్రోధము వలన రుద్రుడు పుట్టాడు కదా!బ్రహ్మ అతనికి చెప్పాడు.కుమారా!నీవు రోదనము(ఏడుపు)చేస్తూ పుట్టావు కదా!అందుకని నీకు రుద్రుడు అనే పేరు ప్రసిద్ధమవుతుంది.చంద్రుడు,సూర్యుడు,అగ్ని,వాయువు,జలము,ఆకాశము,పృథివి,ప్రాణము,తపస్సు,హృదయము,ఇంద్రియములు...।ఈ పదకొండూ నీకు స్థానములు.మన్యువు,మనువు,మహాకాలుడు,మహాచ్ఛివుడు,ఋతద్వజుడు,ఉరురేతుడు,భవుడు,కాలుడు,వాసుదేవుడు,థృతవ్రతుడు...ఈ పదకొండూ నీ నామములు.ధీవృత్తి,ఉశన,ఉమ,నియతి,సర్పిస్సు,అర్చి,ఇల,అంబిక,ఇలావతి,సుధ,దీక్ష...వీరు భార్యలు.మీరు మీ మీ భార్యలతో నేను చెప్పిన ఆవాసములలో నివసించి,ప్రజలను పుట్టించాలి. బ్రహ్మ చెప్పిన మాట విని,ఏకాదశ రూపములు దాల్చి రుద్రుడు రుద్రగణమును సృజించాడు.ఆ రుద్రగణము విశ్వాన్ని మ్రింగి లోకోపద్రవము కు నడుము బిగించింది.ఇదంతా చూస్తుంటే బ్రహ్మకు తల తిరుగుతుంది.చాలా బాథ పడ్డాడు.తన కుమారులు అయిన రుద్రులను అందరినీ పిలిపించాడు.కుమారులారా!నేను ఒకటి అనుకుంటే ఇంకేదో జరుగుతుంది.మంచి జరగాలని అనుకుంటే ఉపద్రవము వచ్చి మీదపడుతున్నది.మీరు ఇంక భగవద్ ధ్యానం చేసుకోండి శ్రీహరిని అని హితోపదేశం చేసాడు.మీకు అంతా మేలు కలుగుతుంది. Rudrudu...,Brahma started talking to Rudra.Hey son!you were born crying.So,you will be identified as Rudra and become famous.Chandrudu(moon),Sooryudu(Sun),Agni(fire),Vaayuvu(air),Jalamu(water),Aakaasamu(sky),Prudhivi(Earth),Praanamu(life),Thapassu(penance),Hrudayamu(heart),Indriyamu(sensory organs)...all these are your residing places.Manyuvu,Manuvu,Mahaakaaludu,Mahaachchivudu,Ruthadhvajudu,Ururethudu,Bhavudu,Kaaludu,Vaasudevudu,Dhruthavrathudu...You will have these names.Dheevruthi,Usana,Uma,Niyathi,Sarpissu,Archi,Ila,Ambika,Ilaavathi,Sudha,Deeksha...all these would be your wives in all the residing places you live in your eleven forms.You live with them and start progeny. Rudra accepted Brahmas directions and succeeded in creating Rudraganamu.Rudraganamu brought chaos all over the universe.It started nullifying everything which came across them.Brahma was dejected and disillusioned.He wanted to do something good and prospering.He never did expect this type of outcome and utter chaos.He called his sons and told them.Hey sons!enough of all this.More damage is being done than anything good and proper.You devote your remaining life in praying Sri Hari.You will surely be benifitted.

పాపసృష్టి….Paapasrushti

బ్రహ్మ దేవుడు మొదట అహంకార బుద్ధిగల మోహమును పుట్టించాడు.తరువాత సంసార సుఖేచ్ఛలు గల మహామోహమును పుట్టించాడు.వెనువెంటనే అంధతామిస్రము,తామిస్రము,చిత్తభ్రమమును పుట్టించాడు.తామిస్రము అంటే చీకటి లాంటి అజ్ఞానము,క్రోధము,కోపము లాంటివి.అంథతామిస్రము అంటే తామిస్రము కంటే భయానకము మరియు మరణ భీతి.చిత్తభ్రమము అంటే గందరగోళము,భ్రమ.ఇదంతా పాపసృష్టి.ఇలా చేసినందుకు అతనికి తనపైనే అసహ్యము కలిగింది.పశ్చాతాపము మొదలు అయింది.ఇట్లా కాదు అని పరితపించాడు.భగవంతుని ధ్యానించాడు.అతని అనుగ్రహముతో పవిత్ర మనస్కుడు అయినాడు.ఇప్పుడు సృష్టి కార్యానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టాడు.అస్ఖలిత బ్రహ్మచారులు,పరమ పవిత్రులు అయిన సనక,సనందన,సనత్కుమార మరియు సనత్సుజాతులు అనే నలుగురు మునులను సృష్టించాడు.అతడు వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు.మీరు మీ మీ యంశములచే ప్రజలను పుట్టించాలి అని కోరాడు.వాళ్ళు దానికి ససేమిరా వీలు కాదు అన్నారు.బ్రహ్మకు భలే కోపము వచ్చింది.ఆ క్రోధము నుండి శివుడు పుట్టాడు.దేవతలలో అతనే ముఖ్యుడు. Brahma created Mohamu ie desire,Mahaamohamu ie lust,Andhathaamisranu,Thaamisramu and chiththa bhrama.Thaamisramu means darkness or ignorance resulting in anger and cruelty.Andhathaamisramu means severe state of Thaamisramu resulting in fear of death and utter blind darkness.Chiththabhramamu means illusion and confusion.These are all creation of negativity.He was feeling guilty for having done this.He repented his move.He went into Dhyaana or meditation.By the grace of God,he was purified.He,again,started creation.This time,he created pure souls,great sages...Sanaka,Sanandana,Sanath kumaara and Sanathsujaathulu.He requested them to enlarge,expand mankind.But they bluntly refused to have progeny.Brahma was very angry and annoyed.He lost his temper.Out of that temper,Siva was created.He is an important God among deities.

బ్రహ్మ ఆయువు…life span of Brahma

మనుష్యుల ఆయుష్షు నూరు ఏండ్లు కదా!అట్లానే బ్రహ్మ ఆయుష్షు కూడా నూరు ఏండ్లే.అందులో మొదటి సగము పూర్వ పరార్థము అని అంటారు.అలాగే రెండవ సగము ద్వితీయ పరార్ధము అని అంటారు.మొదటి పరార్ధమునకు బ్రహ్మ కల్పము అని పేరు వచ్చింది.ఎందుకంటే ఆ కల్పము మొదట్లో బ్రహ్మ పుట్టాడు.తరువాత దానికి శబ్ద బ్రహ్మమని పేరు కూడా పెట్టబడినది.విష్ణు దేవుని నాభి నుంచి పద్మము పుట్టింది కదా!దానిని పద్మ కల్పము అని అంటారు.ప్రస్తుతము పూర్వ పరార్ధము అయిపోయి ద్వితీయ పరార్ధము జరుగుతున్నది.ఈ పరార్ధము మొదట శ్రీ మహా విష్ణువు వరాహ రూపము దాల్చాడు.కాబట్టి దీనికి వరాహ కల్పము అనే పేరు సార్ధకమయినది.నిజం చెప్పేదా?పరమాణువు మొదలుకుని పరార్ధాంతము వరకు గల కాలము విష్ణువు కు ఒక నిమేషకాలము.అతడు కాలమునకు కర్త.అంతేకానీ కాలము అతనికి కర్త కాదు,కాజాలదు. ఇప్పుడు బ్రహ్మాండకోసము గురించి చెబుతాను.ఇది పదహారు వికారములతో కూడి ఉంటుంది.పృథివి మున్నగు పంచభూతములతో పరివృతము అయి ఉంటుంది.పది ఆవరణలు కలిగి ఉంటుంది.పంచాశత్కోటి విస్తీర్ణము కలిగి ఉంటుంది.దీని మధ్యలో శ్రీహరి పరమాణు రూపములో ఉంటాడు.లెక్కలేనన్ని మహాండకోశములు అతని కుక్షి యందు నిక్షిప్తమయి ఉంటాయి.అప్రమేయుడు ,నిరతిశయుడు,ధగద్ధగమానమయిన ప్రకాశముతో విరాజిల్లుతుంటాడు.అతనిని వర్ణించడం బ్రహ్మాది దేవతలకు కూడా సాధ్యం కాదు. Life span of humans is hundred years.Brahmas life span is also one hundred years.The first half of it is called Poorva paraardhamu.Second half is called Dvitheeya Paraardhamu.First half is also called as Brahma Kalpamu.Because Brahma was born at the start of that Kalpa,it is called as Brahma Kalpamu.Later it was called as Sabda brahmamu.Lotus rose from umbilicus of Vishnu.So,it is called as Padma Kalpamu.Poorva Paraardhamu is over.Now,Dvitheeya Paraardhamu is running.Because of the reason that Vishnu took up Varaaha Avathaaram at the start of this Kalpa,this is named as Varaaha Kalpamu.Starting from an atom to the end of Paraardhamu...this time is just a minute to Vishnu.He created Time.Time has no say in directing Him. Brahmaandakosamu consists of sixteen vikaaramulu or nuances.It is made of Pancha bhoothamulu or Elements.It has ten layers.It has huge surface area of five billion miles.In the midst of this,Vishnu is in atom form.But he has so many Mahaandakosamulu or entire planetary systems in his abdomen.He is shining like one crore Suns shining simultaneously.Even Brahma and other deities fail to praise Him properly and perfectly.Vishnu is the Supreme and Infinite.No one can match Him.

ప్రళయము….cosmic dissolution

బ్రహ్మ యొక్క దివ్య ప్రమాణ కాలమున పదునులుగురు మనువులు ఉంటారు.ఒక్కొక్క మనువు కాలము డెబ్బై ఒక్క దివ్య యుగములు.ఆ మనువులు,దేవతలు,మునులు,సప్తర్షులు భగవదంశములో పుట్టి లోకాలను పాలిస్తారు.మహా విష్ణువే పితరులు,తిర్యక్కులు,నరులు...ఇలా చాలా రూపాలలో పుట్టి,మన్వంతరములందు లోకాలను పాలిస్తూ ఉంటాడు. పగటి వేళ అయిపోగానే బ్రహ్మ నిద్ర పోతాడుఆ రాత్రి చిమ్మ చీకటిగా,గాఢాంధకారము అలుముకుని ఉంటుంది.సూర్య చంద్రులే కాదు,ముల్లోకాలూ కనిపించవు.మహా విష్ణువు శక్తి వలన ఏర్పడిన సంకర్షణాగ్ని సర్వమూ దహించి వేస్తుంది.ఆ జ్వాలల వేడికి మహర్లోక నివాసులు కమిలిపోయి,జనలోకానికి పోతారు.అప్పుడు ప్రళయము ఏర్పడుతుంది.మహా సముద్రము నీటితో అన్ని లోకాలనూ ముంచి వేస్తుంది.అప్పుడు మహా విష్ణువు సముద్రము మధ్యలో శేషతల్పము పైన పడుకుని,యోగనిద్రలో ఉంటాడు.అప్పుడు భూర్భువరాది లోకములు అన్నీ అతని కుక్షియందు నిక్షిప్తమయిఉంటాయి.జనలోక వాసులు అతనిని స్తుతిస్తూ ఉంటారు. Cosmic dissolution or pralaya... In the full term of Brahma,there will be fourteen manuvulu.Each Manuvu has a term of seventy one celestial eras.Those Manuvulu.. father of mankind,deities,sages,saptharshis are born with Almightys ansh or part and rule these worlds.Maha Vishnu,Himself,is born as Pitharulu...ancestral fore fathers,deities,Thiryakkulu...animal kingdom,and humans and rules these worlds. As soon as day comes to an end,Brahma goes to sleep.Night is pitch dark.Sun,Moon and other planets and worlds can not be seen.Sacred and powerful Fire which eminates from Maha Vishnu destroys everything.Due to the severe heat and dust,residents of Maharlokas run away and take shelter in Janalokas.Then Destruction on massive scale occurs and waters of the oceans submerge all the worlds.Then,Maha Vishnu is seen lying on Sesha naagu,amidst the ocean,and in deep sleep.All the worlds,which he created,will be seen lying dormant in his abdomen.Who ever are present on janalokas...realms of humanity,will be chanting His name.
